Quarterly Team Meeting

Last Saturday was our Quarterly Team Meeting with Amanda. It actually was my first time as I joined Stampin Up! in January. I really enjoyed it and I am very pleased with the different techniques and projects.
I haven't had time to make a card based on Elaine's tutorial (it's half-term!!!!) but I promise to try by the end of the week.

Here is Jane's demo card. Would make a lovely Mother's Day card. We used the heart punch to make the flower petals.

Next is Amanda's Easter basket. No cutting involved, just folding and gluing. Quick and easy to make. The good thing with this basket is that it can be used for any occasion for sweets, crisps, flowers...

And now, Amanda's Punch book.  A clever way to show all the different punches from the catalogue.

Back soon!

Valentine's cards

It has already been a week since my last post and a busy week!
Between crafting and PTA meetings, I haven't seen the time going!
Well, the craft coffee morning was quite a success, all five ladies really enjoyed it and found the experience (of crafting!) quite different.
They were all novice and did not know how to use a trimmer so I had to keep my projects very simple.
Each lady made a different Valentine's card and here are some examples I did prepare for them. They either copied it or changed the colour combination and they all did a fantastic job. Well done ladies!

Cardstock: So Saffron, Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink
Designer paper: Tea & Crumpets

Stamps : Sealed with a Kiss
Cardstock : Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue
Inks : Chocolate Chip, Rose Red
Accessories : Chocolate Chip ribbon, sponge dauber, bone folder, scallop circle punch, dimensionals

For this card, I used the same template as for the Inspiring Inkin' challenge#19 but with Valentine's colours.

Cardstock : Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red

I tried to make this card a little more masculine as my hubby doesn't like the traditional Valentine's colours. I will give him this card on Sunday (Ssshhhh!)
